My Review 11-17-2023 Udemy course by Alexander Oni

Over the past month, I’ve been immersing myself in Alexander Oni’s “The Ultimate WordPress Boot Camp Course” on Udemy. Despite my extensive experience with WordPress spanning 15 to 20 years, I felt the need to delve deeper into the intricacies of the block editors, particularly Gutenberg and Elementor.

The course has certainly been enlightening, shedding light on various aspects of these tools. However, the ever-evolving nature of technology, especially in the realm of WordPress and page builders, poses a unique challenge. The rapid pace of change makes it difficult to keep up, rendering it almost impractical to master these tools through a fixed-duration course.

Currently navigating my way through the creation of the third website out of the ten covered in the course, I’ve come to the realization that while the content is valuable, the dynamic nature of website development means that my end product might differ significantly from the instructor’s vision.

In essence, I’m adopting a pragmatic approach—absorbing as much knowledge as possible from the course while understanding that my final websites may deviate from the instructor’s examples due to the swift evolution of WordPress technologies. This dynamic landscape certainly keeps us on our toes and underscores the importance of staying adaptable in the ever-shifting world of web development.
