(Watch Free Video) The first episode of Avengers Assemble, titled “The Avengers Protocol, Part 1”, opens with a shocking twist: Captain America is seemingly destroyed in a battle with the Red Skull. This event prompts Tony Stark to step up and reunite the disbanded Avengers, pulling together Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the young Falcon to face the new threat. The Red Skull, weakened by the effects of the Super Soldier Serum, has allied with MODOK in a desperate plan to steal Cap’s body and extend his own life.
